flash freezing

Okay, this is possible, once I was scripting something in flash, involving a loop, and when I tested it my computer actually froze, and since it froze, I was unable to save it. Anyone know how to make some actionscript that does a "freezing" effect. It would be cool, like a button saying "press to freeze". (to the moderators- please don't ban me, I'm NOT making a virus or anything).

You won't be able to freeze someones entire system if that's what you're asking, anything from the OS to the Flash player can catch "slow scripts" & end their process.

Anything else can be done with stop() gotoAndStop() ect..
