hi everyone...im currently doing my thesis this year. my thesis is an online simulation of algorithms. i would like to ask you guys 4 help :D

would i be able to implement algorithms using javascript?is it as powerful as the java development kit (JDK)? and would flash be able to create an animation based on the user's input?

your help is greatly appreciated. tnx a bunch :D

I don't know much about JS, certainly not enough to answer your question, but I can guarantee that flash will be adequate in animating algorithims--Actionscript is remarkably dynamic (though a pain to work with at times).

Well depends on how big and detailed the script. You are going to have all the same problems in any interpreted engine. Try a mix of compiled Java and JS. That might do the trick and keep it easily changeable for you. Without knowing more about what you are going, I can say much else.
