Flash Preloading scene problem (AC3)

Hello there this is my first post in this forum i hope i could help and get help from you.

my problem is that i created a preloading scene in ac3 it works perfictly in flash player 9 but when i publish the scene in html it do not work and this is the code i am using in AS3:

Please help me in this, i know that (ProgressEvent.PROGRESS) is not working but way do you have any other method to do this.

Well what settings did you test it on in flash meaning flash has a feature when you test movies to set up a simulated download and speed. So if your testing it on a 56k connection speed in flash and its working but your system is on a dsl or higher connection when you publish and the file size isnt that big and your upload it to the server then the preloader is working but your connection is to fast.

Or if your just testing it locally on your machine by opening the page in your browser again the preloader wont really show cause it loads to fast.

Something to try is find the largest file you can find something will for sure take some time to load on a server would be best to try this, or your machine and put it in your flash file then run it and see what happens.
