Hey Guys, I am interested in know, if any of you have used Silverlight and how will it compare to Flash. Will like to know, when should one use Silverlight and when should one use Flash

Well, although I've installed the Silverlight plugin, I haven't seen a page yet that included something made in Silverlight. Haven't even been to Microsoft's site to check it out. I've heard good things about it, but my opinion is it will take some time to rival the popularity of Flash. Primarily because there's a lot of Flash developers that aren't going to want anything to do with it.

Agreed.

If Silverlight does gain popularity in the future, I think it will be by current .NET developers who can use their existing skills and knowledge to break into the RIA arena.
