it's $500, and swishmax is not the same as flash obviously. It's
probably a good alternative, but it's not $100 either.

To get the best, you have to pay for it.

However, as stated, it isn't really the same as Flash. I personally have always considered SWiSH as a click and go type of program, where Macromedia Flash is a program you really have to work at and learn because there really isn't any click and go, it's all you.

You can download the trial pacsunpunk08 and see if it's worth shelling out the bucks for Flash. I did that for awhile. Fortunately, I had about a half dozen computers I could use to play with trials for awhile. I had the good fortune that my company let me buy it, so now I can play with it in earnest and really learn it.

ok, well that's what i get for talking about something I don't
know much about. I was mixing memories with the cost of 3dsMax. :oops:

I was only stating an alternative....
and i wasn't sure about price.
but it does make .swf files, so it may be click and go but it still makes flash based files.

I probably wont like it myself, but do want ATNO said, download the trial version and wait to see if you want to shell out the $400 for it.

same with swishmax, they have a trial as well
