Does anyone know how to have 3D Objects in flash, something along the lines of this

i use swift 3d - express and the full version of swift 3d.

you create the 3d models in the program, then set up your camera and lights and your animations, and the program turns it into a movie clip, or tiff images, or many other things.

i particularly like the 3d - express, it is a flash extension (mx and mx2004 only).

you draw a shape or text, highlight it and click commands swift3d, and it takes your item into the program, you mess with it, and then go back to flash, and boom there it is.

Well if you mean objects you can draw and import, then indeed Swift3D is the way to go.

If you mean actionscript generated like in the tutorial you posted you can either follow that tutorial or read this amazing set of 3D in ActionScript tutorials...

I have swift on my flash, but the program is quite complicated to learn head on.

So do you know about any tuturials for swift 3D and express?

oh and btw

that set of tutorials that lostinbeta provided is just what I needed

swift 3d comes with it's own animated flash tutorials that explain everything. I was up and running from zero in a matter of hourd
