I have been having problems installing fonts I need for a website onto my computer so I have started out without the font with the intention of simply adding it when I got the font installed.
Now I have the fonts installed is there an easy way to change all the text I have put in already to the new fonts?
They are true type fonts.

Yes, its in the wrong forum though. It should be in the Web design forum. If a mod feels like it the mod could move it.

The easiest way that I know of is putting the text you want at a certain font into a div class and have the div class have the font you want associated with it.

The CSS code for it would be...

Code: [ Select ]
.fint1 {
font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;
}
  1. .fint1 {
  2. font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;
  3. }

For extended help on fonts, visit this site.

Something else, the user who is viewing your site would need the font downloaded and installed as well to be able to view the font on your site. The default, I think, would be Times New Roman, that users who don't have the font installed would see.

I don't recommend using different fonts for your site.

Bogey it's only in the wrong forum if it isn't flash related. Assuming it is flash related it's not that easy. I'm fairly certain you are going to have to go to every text area you made, highlight all the text, and change the font in the properties inspector. I've never seen a way to change all fonts in a movie in one shot.

I would also recommend embedding the font if it's a non-standard font. It will add a bit to your final size but probably worth it.
