Greetings everyone,

I was wondering if someone could help me with the following problem.

I'm trying to apply a gradient mask using the "cache as bitmap" mode. I can get it to work perfectly if the masked object is a static movie clip, but if it has some sort of interactive content - in this case, buttons and the whole clip is on a constant looping horizontal transition - it simply won't work at all. It makes sense, I guess you can't cache a button as a bitmap and still maintain it's interaction properties, I know. What I'd like to know is if there is any other way to apply a gradient mask to a non-static movie clip. I'd really be grateful if someone could help me out with this.
