greyscale to color animation

does somebody know where i can find a tutorial that can make a greyscale image turn to a colored image in Flash when you mouse-over on the image?

I've seen this animations before using dhtml on various websites but i want to know how to do it in flash.

You should be able to just do it with a tween (I am sure you can do it in action script as well).

Yeah you can do it via AS using setTransform(), but to be honest, you are probably better off doing it with a tween if you don't know setTransform() (isn't the easiest thing in the world to use).

What you would do tween wise is have 2 images, 1 greyscale and 1 color. Then what you would do from there is create one layer that has your color image on it, and then create another layer above that with your greyscale image. You would then create a tween out of your greyscale image to fade it out. That way as your greyscale image fades it looks like it is actually gaining color.
