Hi

This is plain silly

I am using a button in my Flash movie to link to an external site

Code: [ Select ]
on (release) {
    getURL("http://217.37.000.202/customer/", "_blank");
}
  1. on (release) {
  2.     getURL("http://217.37.000.202/customer/", "_blank");
  3. }

It works fine except for 1 laptop

The link does not work at all!!! I click on the link and the screen flickers

It works great everywhere else I have tested it.

Has anyone ever encountered this before?

Regards,

Tim

the button works fine for me...

perhaps, though, if you make the button direct the user to an actual document (index.php or whatever it is), you'll have more success.

good luck.

If it works on all but one machine, I am more inclined to beleive the problem lies with the machine in question rather than your site.

Hi

I've tried that method roarmeow but the laptop in question still can not follow the link.

I am also leaning towards the computer itself being the actual problem. It is concerning however because I dont want to roll out a new website and find this problem is actually very common.

I think it's just one of those unexplainable bastards.
