having problems with transparency, yes. transparency.

hey,

In Firefox, this Flash Header I have at the top looks great,
but in both IE's 6/7 the swf is displaying PNG's very ugly...

any body got any ideas?
I've tried searching, but nothing related to this.

It should happen in IE 6 which didn't support PNG transparency. So, in that browser you should get a gray background. IE 7 should support PNG transperncies, though.

There is a workaround for IE 6. Check this thread...

hmm, I'm well aware of the .GIF approach, I'll try it, but I doubt I'll have good results....

and can't use Java on myspace ;-/

I was hoping there might be a better solution to this, after so long, but I guess not, lol.

(I'm using a hack so I can have IE6 & 7, so I wasn't sure)
