help me to control the sounds

hello people.... please my problem is how can i make the sounds to be nice if the music would fade out and not cut off abrupt.

this is my script at the first frame:

now, i would like this sound continues playing until it goes at frame 2 and the sounds will fade smotely and not to stop abrupt.... i mean when goto frame 2 the sounds will fade and not to stop ahead.


i hope you give me the solution on this proble that how can i solved.. or can you give me some examples?.... please!!!!

Otherwise, if you want it to fade on a particular frame, have a variable become true on that frame like: _root.fadeSound=1;

Then, in a loop some place like:

onClipEvent(load) {
myVolume=100;
}
onClipEvent(enterFrame) {

if ( _root.fadeSound==1 && myVolume >0) {

myVolume--; // Change decrement amount to suit speed of fade out.
_root.sndAudio.setVolume(myVolume);
}

quick question. im trying to do something real simple, when people click on the link to watch the movies on my site i want the site audio loop to stop (the loop is in a movie clip called music1) when they move on to another area of the site i want the audio loop to start again. is this easy to do without going in and gutting my whole sound system?

That would be a simple thing, but difficult to tell you how to do it without knowing how you have your sounds. Are you using sound objects?

i imported my sound (wav) and placed it on the time line of the movie clip music1. when the site opens, there is one frame that is never gone over again with that movie clip in it. the music fades in and is controlled by buttons in another clip. the reason for this is when going "back" in the time line the track would double play, even though it was set to play "on start" i don't know if i made it more clear or more muddy
