help me on how to get the flash fps interval?

hi.. is there a way getting flash fps interval? because im currently working with my thesis and i want to know every interval of fps, and that interval will be send to the php and use it also in php timer interval. what i want to do is when the first animation stop or finished animating, thin the next animation or swf file will be loaded according to the users choice.. i cant do this all in flash without the use of php its because it will never become dynamic, or i just dont know how to make it dynamic in flash.. is it possible to do that? please give me some idea or code of how to do it...
