Do you want the gametracker html to be rendered in the flash page itself? I'm guessing this is where you going with this.

Or I should really say, have the same effect as if it were to be rendered on the page. Basically looking for the image to be updated as the png is updated.

I dont have Flash Installed on the computer I'm working at but I believe this should work for you.

http://www.flashwonderland.com/load-ext ... age-4.html

Look for the code and download the supplied fla. This should give you something to mess around with and hopefully you can get something to work for you out of this example. Basically what you will want to do is pull the png file that gametracker gives you and load that image. You can add a click event if you want to keep the link intacked.

Would it be possible for someone to dumb this down a lil? I think the above link is for action-script 2.0 (maybe) cuz i get errors, also all the tutorials for loading an external image use a local external image if that makes sense. like:
//URL of the external image content
var myRequest:URLRequest=new URLRequest("island.png");

Island.png being in the root folder
I don't believe its an image i need to load but a web page such as:

http://cache.www.gametracker,com/compon ... &width=240

Oh and in this link change the , to a . to make it work since this site doesn't allow links.

KK Moving on i have discovered i can use images but when i try linking an external image it says invalid url, i used the following tutorial:

We'll first start with making a loader:

var imageLoader:Loader = new Loader();

Note that imageLoader can have any name but you'll have to change it also in the rest of the code.

Afterwards we'll add an URL request by typing this in the actions window:

var image:URLRequest = new URLRequest ("http:url gos here");

Note that image and the URL can be customizable, but if you change the name of the URL request you'll have to change it in the rest of the code. Also the URL must have only an image, so not a site with a image, but only the image.

Now we want the loader to load the request, so we type this:

imageLoader.load(image);

And as last we add the loader with the request:

addChild (imageLoader);

When we the image is on the stage it'll have as default it's x and y values 0.
If you want to change it, you can do it like this:

imageLoader.x = 200;
imageLoader.y = 300;

Note you can choose what the x and y values are
----------------------------------------
----------------------------------------
----------------------------------------
--------------------
This is the complete code

var imageLoader:Loader = new Loader();
var image:URLRequest = new URLRequest("http:balhblahblahurl,here");
imageLoader.load(image);
addChild (imageLoader);
imageLoader.x = 200;
imageLoader.y = 300;

----------------------------------------

when i paste in my url and test it in flash it says invalid url?? why
