Hi, all. I just joined (been reading for about two months.) I've been hired by Bowman Systems (http://www.bowmansystems.com) to do a Flash animation demonstrating their software, Servicepoint (servicept.com) , but I only learned flash shortly before getting the job, so my animation is sort of unimpressive, in my opinion. What can I do to help make this a little flashier -- not too over the top, this is a highly respected company, it has got to maintain the corporate aesthetic -- but, to liven it up, a little?

Here's the temporary page I threw this thing up on:

Any help / suggestions? I've got a .fla if anyone wants it - 3 mb.

Thanks
- Hunter

My suggestion would be to move things along faster. I think you can do a better job of punctuating and emphasizing ideas if things snapped into place a little faster and tighter. I think it would be better if you cut down the copy a little.

I really didn't care for the copyright in the top-left corner.

If you're going to move things behind the controls at the bottom, I think you should put a background under the controls but above the moving bits.

My 2 cents.

//the controls are a bit confusing. I would seperate the navigation controls from the music controls.

HTH! :D

Okay, thanks for the help - I took it all to heart, but what does this mean "cut down the copy a little"?

I've been looking all over for a music substitute they'd like, but they seem pretty set on this one. Meh, oh well.

There are no other critiques?

I know. They're happy with it, it's just that I'm not.

Edit: Nevermind.

Anyway, thanks for all the help.
