HOW DO I CONVERT A SWF MOVIE FORMAT TO A VCD FORMAT

how can i convert a shockwave file (swf) to a vcd format that it can be view on a vcd.

VCD, format? I dont believe there is a specific file type for a VCD. I have a couple vcd's and they are in .mpg format. Quicktime can convert an swf into a mpg.

what i am mean is this when you check a vcd on your pc, it has 2 to 3 folder of files and the one that usually carries the movie has a .dat format. i hope you understander me.

That's not conversion to VCD format, that's just burning a VCD. Like OriginNO_II said, it's just MPG, which QuickTime can do. Once you have the converted file, find a cd burner app that can burn VCDs (like Nero). When you tell it you want to burn a VCD, it creates all the folders and things on its own. You just have to add the MPG and burn.

Perhaps you'll need some software for help. I once heard of something named flash on tv. But sorry, I forgot the where i found it.

yeah, this program is worth trying, converts very fast and without loss of quality

i've tried Amor SWF to Video Converter 1.8 and it works pretty good, now days swf is pretty much included in every video format application for export or import, so try Amor that should work. i think Magic Swf2Avi v.3.00 might work also, but i have not tried that. good luck
