HI GUYS,

I need to know how to automatically be transfered from my (Introduction Flash Movie) to my (Main flash Site). >> I'm using Dreamweaver MX.

For example, the (Intro Flash movie) plays and then after it finishes
I want to be automatically transfered to my main flash site.

I'm trying to do this, because the flash intro movie size is smaller than the main website flash, and plus it looks more professional like on other flash sites.

PLEASE HELP me if you can guys! :cry:
I'm trying to finish it before the end of Christmas Day.

Thanks and Merry Christmas to everyone

on the last frame of your movie:

Code: [ Select ]
getURL("mynextpage.html","_self");

Targets can be:

_self for same window

_top to break out of a frameset

_blank for new window

And I think i'm missing one, but i'm too tired to think of it.

Also, using getURL() the default target is _self so if you write it as
Code: [ Select ]
getURL("targetPage.html");
then the result will be the same as nories code.

Also.. be sure to link to the correct .html page.... do not link to the .swf file, a flash movie should ALWAYS be embedded in a page (.html, .htm, .php, etc) not shown directly via the .swf (good site-designing practice). If you don't know how to do this, check out File/Publish Settings in Flash (and the help files if you don't know after that)

And last but not least, for optimized purposes, I recommend checking out loadMovie() in the future :)
