Hey. I have this short animation that i want to upload on youtube. I published it in .mov format but the youtube server is telling me that the file format is invalid.

So, how to upload my flash animations on YouTube?

Tnx.

flv doesn't work either. There is only a way to uploaded by exporting as an avi file in flash. But man, the file size is so big after i export it.

So if anyone has a solution to this one, please post it.

The .mov format in Flash publish settings is an older .mov format and likely not supported by uTube even though the .mov format itself is supported. Instead of using the Publish options try using export instead. Choose .avi from the dropdown menu and save it as an avi file. Then try that with uTube.

Yea, i have done that, but the file size is so much bigger, when i exported in an .avi file.
Is there a way how to create a supported file format for youtube, without such a big increase in size?

Video files are large thats kinds of how it is. YouTube will recompress the file based on its standard so I'd say upload the avi unless you have a seriously slow connection it shouldn't be too much of a problem

My advice is export as swf file, then convert the swf file to mov, flv or mp4 for uploading to youtube. I have tried Firecoresoft SWF video converter, it can do the help.
