html as text

i'm trying to have a flash movie that generates webpages based on user input. so i've got the form set up, and the results text box, where i have html with variables in it, but html is recognizing the html in the box as action script and html rather than just text. are there tags i can put in to have what is between them regognized as text??

also, is there a way to have the variables insert into the html and export a .html file?

Uhhh, I can't say as I understand your first problem. My guess is that if you don't want HTML to be converted in your textbox, then don't HTML Enable it in the properties panel (or via AS).

As for exporting an html file. You can't do that with Flash. You may have to use a server-side language such as PHP.
