Hey guys,

any one know how to create a hyperlink for a flash?

please give details !

i am using macromedia flash to create flash and dreamweaver to write a website.

using the getURL function ...
lookit up on google ..

thz for replying...

i have heard of the getURL function but my problem is towards the designing as in creating a layer over etc.

this was what i have heard of but with no details, therefore could some1 provide the details...

sorry...

basically, i am looking for a solution like creating a transparent layer over everything of the flash and insert the function on the transparent layer...

this is some brief memory of what i have seen of (it coud be wrong) but have no details at all...

you could make a movie clip as big as your flash movie and but the action on that

yeah , put its alpha to 0 and assign the function to it or make an empty button as big as your flash movie ...

I guess he just wanted an image map for linking like dreamweaver has. Solution above should do the job.
