I thought about this, perhaps fireworks only wants to import images on a certain byte offset. so like when using textures with directx, it has to be on a 2 or 8 byte boundary?

i'll have to experiment more with this.

this is a strange problem. I don't use fireworks too often, but I
can honestly say I haven't had this problem. Let us know what
you find.

This is an annoying little tidbit of Flash that happens no matter what image type you import into it.

Apparently Flash likes to crop off (or crunch down... not sure which) the last pixel or two on the right and bottom of the image. This is quite annoying and the only way i've found to get around it is to add an extra 2px area of blank space around the edge of your image.... a transparent border of sorts.

That's odd, considering how often you import images into Flash.

I've experienced this issue more times than I care to count...

Flash can be sooo stupid sometimes :P (but that doesn't make it any less great)
