I have a sequence of flash buttons that use animations. They run in order to create an overall effect, but when the mouse go over to start the over animation, then leaves, the order is all thrown off. Is there a way to code the frames in the "up" animation to keep running while the "over" and "hit" animations are shown, so that it'll stay in sequence when the mouse leaves?

only way I can think of is to make each state of the button send a signal to external MC's to play (i.e. an actionscript file on the "over" state telling _root.overanimation to play).

Hope it helps,
wyatt
