Sorry, the title of this message sounds self aggrandizing, but that's how this tutorial has come to be known over the last few years.

A couple of years ago, I wrote a large tutorial on sound objects. I've just finished a major revision. There have been several corrections and many new items added. I'm hoping that a few experienced Flashers will read through it for accuracy.

Here is a link to the main page:

I have a little point I would like to highlight here...

I agree to the fact that you should ask for money to get the FLA files, that's all right.

I also agree that you should try to place a link to the project in here, and everywhere else where people might get interested in it. I do the same, after all...

The one thing I don't agree is that your page is sooooooo long, it's almost pathetic. Can you somehow give it an engineer's look and divide the "house" into a couple of "rooms"...? Panties, pots, paperclips and pillows should not be in the same space if you get what I mean...
Besides it's almost hard to scroll the whole thing...

Hope you don't mind me telling you this. I am concious you never asked for an opinion, so please forgive my words... :)

PS: I bookmarked your site... Excellent material!

No, you're absolutely right. It's on my to-do list. I wanted to get the updates done first. The page will be divided at each gray bar.

I have already seen the update a few days ago (or the beginnings of the updates) when referring your tutorial to someone else (I absolutely love this sound object tutorial). I haven't had a chance to actually sit and read it, but I have skimmed it and all seemed well. I can't believe you improved upon perfection.

Thanks, that really mean a lot coming from you. I really respect your Flash knowlege, lostinbeta. The updates reflect several things, including my better understand of Flash (since then), updates to the Flash player since then and new tutorials.

 You respect my Flash knowledge? Well that means a lot coming from you!

I get that from a couple people, but it's mostly from newbies who I've just helped with a gotoAndPlay() problem...lol.

Okay, I've divided the tutorial into separate pages, and I updated the hyperlink list above to correct the URL's.

Thanks, agian, lostinbeta.
