Motion on a button

once again i am new to flash and i need some help. this will probably sound pretty noobish but... how do i make these images:






into a button. i would like it to start with the first image and go through the last, when then mouse is over it. When the mouse is not over the button i would like it to look like this:



any help would be great.

Ps. im using Flash MX incase that matters.

Is very easy- just make a movie clip with the images that you like to be animated






then, make a new button.. you see that you have 4 frames in the button
up-over-down-hit

ok in the up frame put this image

now in the over frame put the movie clip that you created, in the down you can put the same image that the up frame, ant in the hit put one image , to get the exact size.

ok another noob question... how do i create a movie. please dont laf, iam way noob to flash. im wanting to start learing it to use on my websites. thx for you help

don't worry to ask men, we are for help.

if you know how to create a button, then you know how to make a movieclip. If you don't know just pres ctrl+f8 for a new movie clip or f8 to create a movie clip of the selected object

yo darkthroniar did u get my email. I sent it to your yahoo account. I attacted the .fla and .swf files to it. i need help on getting sound to play once the mouse is over the button. thx again. also if anybody else could help that would be great.

i readed your mail, i think that you send me the mail to my hotmail account, i readed today, but the mail don't have any attach file, cand you resend the mail..


if you like to add sound at your button, only add a new layer on your button and press f6 in your over state and then add your sound on that keyframe.

i got your files. i see your .fla file and you have more movieclips than you need, because you have one movie clip in the scene1 named button and in this movie clip you have the object button named mybutton .. you don't need that movie clip in your scene, the button work well, but you can delete it and put only the button in your scene, i reply your mail with a new .fla, only with the comment when you can put your sound, check the button object , the label is "Sound here"
