uhmm, either i have a deja vu, or i forgot to post, or my posts were lost.
But i was convinced i already answered to something like this, and that was some time ago.
If you don't have a digi cam which detect motion and notify the software about this, then ... you would probably need something else.
I don't know if it's possible in flash, but this is what i have in mind:
you store first image as default in a bitmap object, then, as you keep receiving images, compare the pixels from the received image with those from the stored image. If any differences, start play sound.
Store the last image that you received in the bitmap object, and loop back.
This is how i would do it, not sure though if in flash you have access to the images.

possible in webcam me thinks , never tried it before though ands have no idea about a digi cam ..

http://www.adobe.com/support/flash/acti ... ry119.html
Camera.setMotionLevel
Camera.onActivity(true)

but i think IceCold's answer is the best , continues check on pixels might do the trick but what about white & light exposure , that is a light motion eyh ?
