mp3 preview button 20 seconds

Hi folks!

Im having trouble here
I'd like to make a bandwidth saving mp3 preview button...
instead of clicking on the button and that the stuff loads an mp3 file on the server (legally of course) it just takes a part of it, like 10 seconds or more...
a bit like itunes store, if you know what I mean...

Possible?

Are you trying to do this inside Flash or are you looking for a sound playing solution for your website?

If you just want to play the sound without having to build anything check out the soundmanager2 js. I believe this is actually what Apple is using for previews (at least the imagery looks similar)

yeah I've found that a bit after I posted this, but this doesn't changes anything to the bandwidth issue..
Isn't it possible to change a bit the code of the flash-part of soundmanager 2, to have it only loading 20 seconds ? instead of the whole file...
