Hey, Im fairly new to web design but I have been working furiously on my website, until i stumbled upon a problem. I am trying to create a page where customers can select certain items that I would like to add a value ( price) to and a program in the background adds up the total cost instantly and shows the value onscreen. Then a button that could enable the buyer to purchase the items they have purchased. Any help would be appreciated :P Btw I am using Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004

If you are using Dreamweaver, then you are going to have problems. Not because Dreamweaver can't do it, but because you are not fully educated in HTML. I highly suggest NOT using WYSIWYG editors such as Dreamweaver.

UNLESS, you can hand-code in HTML and javascript without a problem. That way, you will be able to fix all the bogus code created.

IF YOU MUST:

you can reference that tutorial.

Good luck
