need help to modify code

This page shows how to make preloading page - so when you enter some url then you will see this page as long as "real" page is loading. i tried this and it works but not that way as i'd like it would work.

1) i'd like that it would not use pop-up page method (cos it will get blocked), rather as ordinary loading page and when loading is done, it would switch to "real" page - like you would press navigation link (not closing it as this script does).

fixed. that part of code "open window", could i use something else so it would not treat it as pop-up window.
