i need a temporary link asap

i want to make a flash that sends a 0 to a text file. this is the idea i want to give someone a link to a page when they click on the button in flash it set the variable to zero in which they can't use that button again the text file will have a variable good=1 or something like that
when he first go to the link and the page load it will get the variable and place it into flash if the variable is 0 then it goes to another page.

Unless things have changed, saving has been disabled in flash for sake of security. Do you have access to server side scripting ? EX, ASP,PHP

As I understand it, you can do what you want to do entirely in flash...

If you want to send and load variables, however, I believe the command is loadVarsObject.send(url [,target, method] ), though I haven't yet figured out how to successfully use it
