I'm attempting to insert a new scene at the beginning of my animation (to put in "loading" progress bar). Not quite sure how to insert a new scene at the front (or re-order scenes). Halp!![flash width=100 height=100][/flash]

Thought about just insert blank frames to your current timeline and placing the code on there ?

Thanks Enigma. I'm not very experienced in Flash. My animation begins in frame 1 (along with half a dozen other layers). When I go to insert another frame, it doesn't really change anything. It just makes that layer one frame longer in the timeline. Do I insert a frame, keyframe or blank keyframe? Thanks for the halp!

Highlight the first frame of every layer and insert a blank frame.

Depending on how many frames your preloader bar requires will determine how many frames you need to insert [ I.E. If your preloader works over 3 frames, insert 3 blank frames ].

Okay...got the frames in. No I select the first frame in the actions layer, but I can't just drop the code in. I have to select a type of action, right? I've looked at several tutorials but none tell you what action to select (action, operators, function, etc.) I appreciate the help, Enigma!

Rather than searching through the bits of code that is supplied with Flash, set your actions panel to "Expert Mode" and type the code in yourself.

Most people use "Expert Mode" when writing AS, this is mainly because it is alot easier.

If your still stuck after, just let us know.
