HI!
I'm new in Flash and Dreamweaver, and my question is very basic one but I don't know how to do it.
I want to build a page with 3 frames: one for the tittle, one for the menu and one for the contents.
I want to do the menu as a toolbar made in Flash where every button open a web page in the contents frame.
I draw the buttons but I can't do they functions. I have for example, a button called b-curriculum with an instance name curr.
Selecting that instance name I wrote this script:

on (press) {
getURL("currculum.htm", "_parent");
}

I this correct? Or, which is the script I must to write?

This don't functions. When I testes it shows this error:

WARNING: This movie uses features that are not supported in the Flash 5 player
Accessibility information is not supported in SWF versions less than 6.
Scene=Scene 1, Layer=Layer 1, Frame=1: Flash MX Button Instance Name

Thank you in advance for every help.
Regards

on (release) // Release Is Best, People Play With Buttons.
{
getURL("curriculum.htm", "_PARENT", "POST"); // getURL Requires 3 Parameters, URL, Window, & Method
}

Where Are You Puting The AS?

You Should Be Adding It To The Button, Not The Frames In/Outside Of It.

Right Click The Button, Action Script:

Code: [ Select ]
on (release)
{
getURL("curriculum.htm", "_PARENT", "POST");
}
  1. on (release)
  2. {
  3. getURL("curriculum.htm", "_PARENT", "POST");
  4. }
