I'm trying to use the getURL function to open a relative path window for my autorun intro movie, so far unsuccessfully. Is there a way to open a windows explorer window in flash? thanks.

thanks, I'm grateful, however there it says that it must be embedded in an html file to work, is there a way to launch browser windows without html pages (mine is a full-screen cd autorun intro)

I don't beleive it has to be embeded in a HTML page. I have seen it used in lots of full screen flash presentations.

Give it a try and see what happens.

Worst thats going to happen is it doesn't work, but I can't see why it shouldn't.
