Hello to all,

I am approaching a deadline fast and I'm in a real jam.

I'm supplying these Flash animators with vector art for their website. They are illustrations of people.
The problem is, to create these Illustrator pictures/'objects' I use compound pathes, and when I import it into Flash it doesn't read it properly and my characters are filled in with color. :(

I don't know if I'm explaining it clearly. Has anyone else run into this problem? I've searched everywhere for anything on this topic, I've found nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time

Jeremy

I don't know about compound doodads. But can't you export the vector to a png or something like that. Flash reads png transparency!

Or are you trying to export all the layers of your vector?

Thanks man. I found a solution. It's not perfect, but if I make little cuts in the illustration and discard using compound pathes it doesn't fill in. Had to change the illustrations a little bit, but it was worth it.

No need to post anymore replies, thank you. :)
