Is it possible to run movie only from a certain frame to ano

Please I have a question
If I have a time line displaying some motions
Every motion have a number

Is it possible that the user of swf flash select the number of motions he want to run by input the beginning motion number and the end motion number ?

And can he choose a number to repeat thae motion he have choosed ?

Yes, it's very possible.

Read below only as an extended comment.

Place your motions inside movieclips, then just do:
motionX.play(); where motionX is the selected motion movieclip.
Implementation requires though a bit of knowledge, but not too much and can be done fairly easy.
To repeat the motion X times, you just check in the Enter Frame event if the motion ended, and if so and if the repeats number is less than X, then repeat it.

Also you can make motions only using actionscript, just check the Tween class.
