a preloader for images slider in flash by using as 2.0

I made an image slider in flash Mx 2004. The swf size is roughly 200kb so I made a loader which is placed in scene 1 for loading the content in scene 2.
But the loader does'nt seem to work. Can some one please guide me on making an advanced loader which can be used every where. I also have problem with loading an swf which has scroll pane component in it. Thanks in advance.
