hi
I have a strange problem here :cry:
I have a movieClip and I loaded a .swf into it, I can change this movie properties(such as _x) but I can not change the visibility of it by using _visible.

chBoxPlace._visible = false; ---------------> this doesn't work
chBoxPlace._x = 500; ---------------> this work

p.s.I have some tabs and I can change the visibility of the movie in the section which I have written the way my tab work but I have a comboBox and I want to change the visibility of my movie when my combo change but it won't work in my combo listener .. :?:

You should probably try using just loadMovie and unloadMovie if the visibility wont work. I only use _visible for buttons but never for anything else.

@ graphixboy : well yes I try _alpha, the .swf which I load contains some checkboxes and _alpha just make the checkBoxes invisible and the checkBox's text doesn't have any change at all :(

@ScRat0i71 : yesss, this is a good solution, I did it and with some changes in my program every thing looks fine :)

thank you sooooo much :)
