Hello. I'm working on a chat room program in Flash and I've run into a stopping block.

I need to have a dynamic list of the open rooms on one side of the screen. It must be scrollable. When the user clicks on one of the rooms in the list, I want to take the user to that room.

How can I create a link which, when clicked, will trigger an ActionScript function?

Thanks for your help,
Keegan

I haven't used it often, but theres an undocumented actionscript function called ASFunction. You can use it with an A HREF of HTML enabled text to call a function that exists within the ActionScript.

Check this out for more info...
