Fairly new so I don't really understand how much works with flash and actionscripts. Anyways what I am trying to do is stream a .avi video file on my flash website upon clicking a button. If its even possible I would like it to open a separate, smaller window to play it. Also I have looked at just converting it to a .swf and importing it to the current .flv file. I don't know which works best, any help would be great. Primarily looking for any code snippets written in AS2.

Alright thanks I thought I figured it out with your help. I seemed to have done everything correctly and the video plays locally in the test movie feature of flash. I uploaded all the output files from publishing it, but I can't seem to get it to work on my website. Any advice you can find the directory with all the files at http://www.tswiftmusic.com/acm
