Why should we pay you for this? I (and many of the other users here) are very capable of doing this on our own. What makes your service special that a bunch of Flash designers/developers should take notice?

You see, SiteClip gives people like you and the other users a chance to provide your site visitors with an online video recording tool. The application in question will ease your life, you won't be worried for the server side process, you won't need to install any software or buy the Flash Media Server. When using SiteClip web site owners will need no special knowledge in online streaming technologies or programming, they can now skip the part with the creation process and provide their site visitors with the final result straight on their web site. There are no other kind of devices or software needed, your web site visitors will be able to record videos only with the use of a web camera at their disposal.

I saw this happening ever since Macromedia launched that Flash V8 minisite where developers could share recorded video of themselves doing a review of the Flash 8 beta.

Its awesome for you guys to be the first I've heard of to launch this service.

I do however still consider this post to be SPAM. :?

Thank you for the appraisal, I appreciate your comment!

This post however is meant to be a helpful resource for web developers and people in this forum who are trying to provide their site visitors with a video powered web site or online community. This is not of your disadvantage, besides this service has a free trial and you can check for yourself if it is the thing you need. You can register for SiteClip and try the free trial version to see how it works and check how SiteClip matches to the design of your web site.

We are always open to suggestions and if you pop in to the given address and ask us about this service we will explain in details its mechanism.

P.S. If this is in the wrong category, please move us to the appropriate one. Thank you!

Apart from the above mentioned comment I would like to provide the members here with a simple explanation of how SiteClip works:

In general, your first step is to install SiteClip, then your visitors will be able to record their video message using only the help of a web camera. They don't need to be proficient in using special types of software.

The next stage - the video file is published directly on your web site in the location where you want it. This is not the case where you are dependent on a 3rd party, you now own the video and it resides within your site. Web site owners will be able to choose how to use these video messages.

For example they could be published on your own forum as an avatar, or attached to the message in your own blog with the purpose to complement the text. Dating sites can use them as video profiles or as an exchange of audio/video messages between the users. Instead of using pictures entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to advertise their products or services via the video messages of SiteClip. It is a matter of your imagination. When you record videos with this application you do not need to download them like you do when shooting with a digital camera. There is no need of using codecs, and you don't have to convert the recorded video in order to upload it on your site.

You are completely true by saying that advertising is the key for successful commerce, but if you consider my words as such I should advise you to have a look at the website first. You'll find that we are providing this service purely for medium and small business owners on the i-net who can't do these things on their own but need such tools in order to promote their business, and this is a way to tell them.

This handy tool could be at your disposal at any time and you are not being charged for it till you record 100 videos - that is the trial version. And if you happen to find it not so useful or good for you, just cease using it. It's as simple as that.

You see, this service is designed for website owners who are trying to provide their visitor with video recording tools on their sites. While high-end companies and big web site developers have the funds to hire computer engineers and specialists to create an application of this kind, others probably strive to acquire the possibility of doing this.

If you calculate the monies that you'd probably pay to an engineer to do this, and the expenses for software such as Flash Media Server, you'd definitely reach the point where you'd decide not to do it at all.

With this resource all these people in question have their intentions accomplished. They can now power up their sites with the possibility of creating interesting and attractive videos online.
