remove the sound from a .flv file

Hello All...

I am trying to find a way to remove the sound from an .avi file using only action scripting as I do not have video editing software....is this possible?!

you want to extract the sound to use it some other way? or you want to mute the sound when you play the video in Flash? Flash is not video or audio editing software and you could probably find some trial software that would do what you need a lot easier than attempting to use a screw driver to pound in a nail.

I am using it as a rollover and I don't want the sound to play, only the video....can I mute the sound of the move somehow?

If you are encoding the avi to an flv then simply disable the audio option when encoding it
