A flash movie in my pop-up is showing as intended under a 1280 by 800 resolution. is there anyway i can assure that the flash movie proportions are fixed so that they do not change with different screen resolutions? any kind of help is appreciated.

by default the flash player size DOES NOT change. You actually have to write a bunch of code to make it resize based on the screen res.

In your case the only thing thats changing with the drag is the window size. I think you can add resize=0 in your javascript popup code but I'm not positive.
If at first you don't succeed F1... If that doesn't work try Google!
