Hi There,

I'm trying to make a Flash movie on CS3 and I'm running into a strange problem. I work for a Library and I'm trying to mimic Barnes & Nobles Flash film with all their new arrivals, like this:

http://www.barnesandnoble.com/

But mine....well, the books are streaming past like they are supposed to but they are all shaky, they look like they are quivering and I cannot seem to figure out how to fix it.

Any suggestions Oh gurus of wisdom?

can you post your movement code? I assume the problem is that you aren't rounding to full pixels in your movement.

for example
Code: [ Select ]
targetx = Math.round(currentx+10);

Yeah, I put it in my Test Page so you can see it:

What do you think is going on?

Please post your Actionscript code. I stand by my previous post that your not rounding to a full pixel. Other possibilities are that your frame rate is way too low or you moving the object too far per frame.

However Its Flash so just by looking at it we can't give you any advise. You have to provide the code for us to see.

Hmmm, I don't think there is an Action Script code. I just imported a swf after Exporting it from Flash. We don't use action script. I just imported it into Dreamweaver.

Actionscript is Flash's programming language. All the problems that I described need to be fixed inside the Flash authoring environment BEFORE its compiled into a swf.
