sound to a button

how can I add sound to a button using flash. Do I need sound editing software if I want to copy some music from a cd. My friend made a cd and say I would use it . But I'am having problems. I can not import it into my flash.

hmmmm...... you are trying to take music from a CD and import it into flash? Did u try the File>import to library? make sure it is in .wav that is the basic type Flash will take. adn then did you want to button to link to the sound or sound start on over?
