Is your music contained in your main movie, or are you loading a separate movie with the streaming sound?

A simple procedure is to create a separate movie that contains your music and have it load into a movie clip in your main movie.

Once the clip in your main movie has an instance name (say MovieClipName) you can control it simply with something like:

MovieClipName.Play();

and

MovieClipName.Stop();

Well no offense to your tutorials but I thought these forums were for open source help for those in need ..not a place to plug your pay for lessons website which by the way was not mentioned when you posted your website url
..just a thought

you don't have to pay to check out his tutorials,
just to download the .fla files...
and i don't remember too many folks posting a place to download an .fla on a forums board.

peace and relax

Right, 100% of the code I talk about is posted in the tutorials. About 85% of all of the FLA's are available for download free of charge. There is no cost to access any of the tutorials. The paypal link is there for people who want me to package up all of the FLA's for all of the tutorials so they can download them all in one download. I only ask $5 for that. It barely covers my costs to run the website.
