streaming mp3 files through an swf file.

Simply put, I need/want my music file to play within the first 5-10 seconds of landing on my page.

I have tried many diffferent approaches through the loadMovieNum, preloaders, wav files etc. But still, everytime I refresh the cache, it will take the same amount of time to download the music before it starts playing.

If you could give the exact code, or a demonstration fla that would be great!!

I will be using a dynamic array through a text file that will be written to thrrough a php file used in a CMS system for my client. But, I need to get the basics down first!

That was exactly what I needed! I obviously am still using as 5.0 and not up to date with the mx actionscript 2.0 Thanks a bunch for the help! Now, I'm off to create a dynamic menu!
