Ok, I've been wanting to change the color of the textarea component for some time and finally I got the answere to that.

Code: [ Select ]
instanceName.setStyle("backgroundColor", 0x000000);

Only problem now is that it leaves a gray border around the field and the scrollbar is still white. I tried using the following code, but, it did not work.

Code: [ Select ]
instanceName.setStyle("borderStyle", none);
instanceName.setStyle("scrollTrackColor", 0x000000);
  1. instanceName.setStyle("borderStyle", none);
  2. instanceName.setStyle("scrollTrackColor", 0x000000);

Any suggestions or answeres? Thanks in advance.
