I posted a question on Apr. 24 and got great responses and much help from some great AS programmers.

Good Luck, and please let us know when you're done with this so we can have a look.

So I wanted to experiment with Flash and the web (my first time), so my final project is an interface to find and read events. the events can be searched by type (ie party, lecture etc.) or by month. and the events are called from an XML tree that can be dynamically changed by going to the admin page, that modifies some mySQL tables...
well, here it is -

Thank you all for your help :smilecolros:

meAsking: That is fantastic. What you've done is really impressive and creative. I can't believe that was your first Flash project. Wow!

I assume from your URL that you're a student or faculty member, I hope you score some big points for your work on that.

Thanks for taking the time to come back and show us your work. Don't be a stranger!

hey thanks.

well, it's not really my first flash project. I started learning AS this semester (student) so i've done a couple before. But it's my first flash communicating the web type of project.

I love flash. I'm actually trying to raise votes in my department for an advance flash class. I won't be a stranger. I wanna be able to help people here too one day. When I'll reach a point that I can help solve code I didn't create, then, I truly know AS.

Thanks,
