hi there!!

I made a button for my website, But I have an image in the background of my page. When I put my flash button, it appears with the background color of the button and cuts a fragment of my background image. How Can I make Transparent a Flash Button so when I place it in any background, it shows the page background and not the button background??

Thanks!!

the image which you have as the background
make is a symbol, preferable a graphic.

select it, then in properties it has a drop down menu next to "Color:"

chaneg this to alpha, then set alpha to 0%

voila... vanishes

Hi!! Thanks for your soon response.

The image i'm talking about is in HTML, in my page in dreamweaver. How do I put the Background color of the FLASH document transparent?
I only see SIZE, BACKGROUND COLOR and FRAMES. in Color i don't have the propertie of ALPHA as i have it uin the Graphics.

Try Sana's post..it should probably give some ideas....else if not..then...slice up the portion of you site with photoshop perhaps and then edit that portion of an image where your flash button is located....and edit it in flash......orrrrrrrrrrrr....use javascript swap the image........

Cheers Joebert, I needed that.

That works a charm. I think it's exactly what the guy was originally on about aswell.
