Hi guys, does anybody know how could I reach an effect like this menu in this link "http://www.organicphotographs.com/index2.php".
The font in the menu options changes to another font when the mouse events happen, the interisting point is that is very smooth.
I already tried creating two movie clips from two different static text input and then, I added some scripts to tween both of them by _xscale and alpha at the same time, but I did not reach the same effect.
Does anybody know how to reach this effect in fonts, making them change (tweening) from one format to another ?

It looks like two layers with one set of text on each layer. it looks like the first text is slightly skewing and fading as the second text is fading in. They found text that worked well together. Must have took some time to create that effect and make it look so natural.

I would think you could, it would take some time to get it just right and make it look smooth, there may be someone else that has a better way to do it, but that is how i would think it would be done. Just an idea.

This is a shape tween.

They did it by this method:
-- Write out your 2 texts on different layers.
-- Break Apart each text block.
-- Distribute to Layers on each of the text groups
-- Set your first letter of text A at the beginning frame and the first letter of text B at a further frame say 10.
-- Do the above for all your letters.
-- Select all your letters and go Break Apart.
-- Create a Shape Tween between each of your Key Frames.

Here is an example:

Actually -after looking at it.

Perhaps it is what dferraro40 said.

yup, 2 text layer, first one leaning to right and fading out, second one is probably already leaned to left and start to lean to right, to get to it's normal position (that's why it looks good at the end), also is faded in.
