UIScrollBar Help

Ok here's the deal. I am importing text from an external .txt file. Fine works no problem. I added an UIScrollBar component, correctly, I know because the parameter for the target instance name automatically changed to the correct instance name of the text field. So, everything is in place and for the most part functioning fine, right? No. The scroll arrows and slide bar are not showing up and I can't scroll. I take that back. I can scroll if I select the text and drag but why isn't the scroll bar operating? Has anybody else encountered this problem and how do I fix it? Thanks in advance.

yea, to fix it, use this: scroll bar topic

Thanks IceCold but that doesn't solve my problem with the UIScrollBar Component. However if all else fails looks like I will create my own.
